Community Societies & Committees
BNCS – Baldons & Nuneham Community Society
The BNCS is a community benefit society set up in 2013 when 167 local residents came together to purchase the Seven Stars and save it from closure. The pub is now a community-owned asset, operated by tenants and overseen by a volunteer committee, ensuring it remains at the heart of village life.

BEC – Baldons Events Committee
The Baldons Events Committee organises a calendar of events that bring the community together throughout the year. Its flagship Bonfire and Fireworks Night on the village green attracts up to 1,000 people. The committee also runs the popular Lunch on the Green each summer and a variety of other events for residents of all ages.

The Baldons Fuel Charity
The Fuel Charity supports Baldons residents in need, primarily with help towards fuel costs but also for personal alarms, mobility aids, school transport, and some education expenses. Applications are handled in confidence and considered with care for those who find themselves in difficult circumstances.

Village Hall
The Marsh Baldon Village Hall is available for hire by local groups, families, and organisations throughout the year. It provides a flexible, well-maintained space for meetings, celebrations, clubs, and community events of all kinds.

The Baldons Churches
The Baldons has two churches – St Lawrence Church in Toot Baldon and St Peters Church in Marsh Baldon.
The Baldons church community is warm and embracing of all those who visit, whatever your denomination or faith. Vicar Vicky Burton serves the Baldons, Nuneham Courtenay, Berinsfield, and Drayton St Leonard. Services rotate between Toot and Marsh Baldon; times are in the Newsletter. Special services through the year include Christmas, Easter, Harvest, a memorial service, and a popular pet service.

Baldons Cricket Club
The Baldons Cricket Club plays several matches each season against local village sides, in the true spirit of the game with teamwork and camaraderie to the fore. Thursday evening training sessions on the Green are open to youngsters and adults alike. New players and supporters are always welcome.
